15 months old now!

Sorry for the lack of updates! Hmmm...Where to start?! February seemes like so long ago, yet at the same time, I can not beleive we are approaching May!

In March, Stan and I went to a wedding in Ashville, NC, at the Biltmore. We had a blast, but I think Allison may have had more fun at Granny and Grandaddy Baston's house in Alabama. It was her first overnight trip outside of Tallahassee, and she did great!

Also, since I last posted, Gramma and Grandpa Nixon have been keeping Alibug on Friday nights. Allison walks in their house like she owns the place! She does her normal walk through leading Gramma around showing her the things she likes. It is very cute! Grandpa really enjoys the 6:00 wake up hour because he gets Alibug all to himself for a litle bit.

Also in March, we traveled to Orlando to celebrate PoPPop Nixon's 90th birthday!! He is so special to us!! You would never know he is 90 by looking at him. He still enjoys ballroom dancing! Allison loved the party scene and all of the attention!

Granny Baston has been coming over quite a bit to watch Allison during the day. Stan and I are SO appreciative. It allows me to get some much needed, uninterrupted hours in at the office.

For Easter, after church, we went to Angelo's Restaurant down by the coast...yummy! The pic of Allison pouting is Easter morning :)

I took Allison to the Florida State Spring Football game. She fell in love the Renegade, the horse mascot. I have since taught her the tomahawk chop! I'll have to post some video.

We also went to the FSU Flying High Circus (no animals). Allison was itching for me to put her on the ground so she could imitate the performers. It was HILARIOUS! Then, when the crowd would clap, she would stand up smiling thinking they were clapping for her. I have some video of her doing her "tricks" on Gramma's lap below.

Here are some fun pictures: I can't believe how big she is getting!

Allison Update

Allison is 13 months old...mama's favorite stage yet. She is understanding more and more every day. It is so much fun to watch her look at books, pretend to feed her babies, and vaccum just like mommy with her mini vaccum from Aunt Liz and Uncle William. Stan and I are SO blessed to have her in our lives. We have also been blessed with very good health. Lots of friends have been very sick recently, and we seem to have dodged the yuckiness.

A couple of weeks ago, Granny Baston and Stan kept Allison for a week while Gramma Nixon and I went to training in Tampa to have the ability to sell health insurance in Texas as well as Florida. I am very excited for this opportunity, and hope it works out to be as good as it sounds. My favorite part about my job is I can do it in my PJ's with Allison at my feet. The hardest part about my job is I can do it in my PJ's with Allison at my feet. :)

Gulf Coast Automotive has seen Consumer Confidence increase a lot during the month of February. Stan is still seeing people get declined financing that SHOULD NOT be getting declined; however, people are out shopping AND buying again. We hope the trend continues.....

Enjoy the pictures....Extreme Home Makeover, the TV show, came to Tallahassee this past week. Stan volunteered one morning and I got some cute pictures. Also, Allison has moved up in the car seat world. I figured since her head was about to hang over the top of the infant seat, it was time to switch. Also, our mommy group had a Valentines Party this past week. The babies were born within the same 7 month period, and Allison is the youngest. Two of the Mommys are pregant again due this Spring and Summer.

Baston Fam Update

Allison is such a trooper! Even though she was fighting the tail end of Roseola, a yucky virus, she still had so much fun celebrating her 1st Birthday! There are lots of pics and a few videos posted below. My favorite is the chocolate fountain video. Everytime we would let her taste the chocolate, she would give us the cutest little giggle.

It is hard to believe our little Allison is already 1! We are so blessed to have a healthy, happy baby to share our days. She is so much fun!

She started officially walking on New Years Day!! Here are a few of her new "tricks" that we adore (If we capture on video, I'll post):
*What does a dog say Allison? "Woof"
*What does a cow say Allison? "Booooo"
*Chuga Chuga Chuga Chuga Chug... "Woo Woo!"

All of her responses are in an adorable, petite voice that melts Mama's heart! We're working on the chop for next football season!!

Happy Birthday Allison!
